The Art Of... Rosemary Gabriel
Rosemary Gabriel, retired as Director of Publications for the American Folk Art Museum in New York City, now lives full-time in Greenport, New York. Before she embarked on a career in publishing, ehe studied watercolor at Hunter College. abstract stone carving at the Brooklyn Museum Art School on work schorlarship, and figurative clay sculpture at The New School, in New York. She now paints almost exclusively in oil, and attends the weeekly live sketch group at the South Street Gallery. She is represented at the Fiedler Gallery in Greenport and has shown at the East End Art’s Council in Riverhead, Cecily’s Love Lane Gallery in Matituck, the Floyd Memorial Library in Greenport, and at Glen Smith’s Barn Show in Southold.
